On the 19th of May 2014 at 10:00 a.m., the Atlas conference room of the Radisson Blu Hotel - Bucharest opens its doors to host the International Conference on Sustainable Constructions and Energy Efficiency EURO-Construcţii, which reached its third edition. Similarly with the event that took place on the 14th of May 2013, the symposia will be presented in parallel with those of the International Conference on Joinery and Curtain Walls EURO-Fereastra (sixth edition). Although the national construction sector is still characterized by the uncertainty created by the prolonged recession, the social and political tensions (much more visible in an election year), there have emerged macroeconomic signals showing that the maximum turning moment of the financial crisis has been overcome. Furthermore, even if the macroeconomic assumptions are relatively positive, the companies active on the local construction market are currently facing a number of problems that did not exist before the onset of the recession, such as the difficulties arising from the financial blockage or from the many insolvency or bankruptcy situations of the firms in the industry and the difficult situation on the geo-political plan. Thus, most managers from the industry want to find optimal solutions regarding the outlook of the construction and installation market both on short term (i.e. 2014) and medium or long term (between 2015 and 2020). More and more companies from the industry are asking questions such as: "What are the prospects for development in the field?"; "What opportunities may arise after the ending of the financial crisis?"; "What are the areas with limited funding where a stronger economic recovery is required?"; "What will be the most dynamic segments in the near future?"; "How will cope the markets and large corporations with the new geo-political risks?". All these questions and more will find their relevant answers provided by renowned analysts who will lecture at the EURO - Constructii 2014, which will allow the setting of optimal business strategies that take into account the challenges of the current period and the future one.
